We are proud to have been entrusted with guiding the industrial design and creative identity of the note+ pen for LAMY.
The goal was to develop a digital pen that unmistakably embodies the essence of a pen – seamlessly blending the iconic, ergonomic design language of LAMY’s Safari design icon with the precision of modern technology, developed for Apple iPads.
As designers, we are well aware of the power of drawing in capturing creativity during the ideation phase. The note+ captures the natural motion of the hand, whether writing or sketching, bridging the analogue and digital worlds, with particular emphasis on making the experience of writing more intuitive especially in educational settings.
The design journey involved carefully balancing functional details, selecting textures and defining colours to ensure they align with LAMY’s famous heritage of the Safari classic.
