Studio
Our studio is where ideas are developed into tangible products, from early concepts to refined prototypes.
We work iteratively and in close collaboration, grounded in material exploration and continuous dialogue.
Clients
We collaborate with companies that take a long-term view on design, creating lasting value through material integrity, responsible production, and meaningful use.
Capabilities

Founder
Andreas Kowalewski is an industrial designer with more than 20 years of experience shaping products from concept to production. He studied industrial design at the Folkwang University of the Arts and has worked with a broad range of international brands across furniture, lighting, consumer electronics and household appliances.
After ten years at Philips Design in senior creative roles, he founded his studio to explore how simplicity can shape objects that are intuitive in use, durable, and relevant in their context. His work is rooted in material understanding and follows a systematic approach, aiming for simplicity and longevity in design. Originally trained as a cabinetmaker, he brings a strong sense of craftsmanship to his work.
Jury & teaching
In addition to his studio work, Andreas Kowalewski is actively involved in the wider design field. He has served as a juror for international design awards and regularly engages with design education, including as a Visiting Professor at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, contributing to the education of emerging designers.
