The chair builds on the aesthetic and versatility of the stackable Stilt version, while adding comfort through a softly integrated U-shaped armrest. The rounded backrest is attached with minimal contact points, creating the impression that it floats independently and giving the chair a light, airy presence. Inspired by Carl Hansen & Son’s Danish furniture heritage, the design balances straight structural lines with gentle curves, resulting in an inviting yet architectural character. With a range of wood types, paper cord, and upholstery options, the chair can be easily adapted to suit different interiors. The Stilt collection is part of Carl Hansen & Son’s Studio CHS line, developed for the contract market, including hotels and restaurants.
